GJ.com passed the reserve and sold for $694,000

Another great success of Namejet, a two letter .com domain, gj.com was sold for almost $700,000 yesterday. The buyer is a famous Chinese domainer, Hu Weisheng. His portfolio is composed by more than 20,000 domains. The final sale price is a new record for a 2 letter .com this year. It looks like that the recent fall of Chinese market does not really influences the domaining activity. There were 254 backorders on the domain and 5 bidders above half million dollars.

Gj.com was first registered in 1996 and it was the virtual home of Graham and James LLP. As expected, Hu Weisheng is ready to resell his new domain which is already for sale for $4.5 million.
